Botox® for Correction of Down-Turned Corners of Mouth

Marionette lines / sad mouth : (Depressor anguli oris muscle)

The downward turn of the corners of the mouth are a common complaint as they give the impression of a sad, depressed, and grumpy look. By addressing this muscle with a few units of Botox, it will relax the downward pull of the muscle allowing the corners of the mouth to be in a more neutral position; this will also prevent the furrows form getting deeper. This should only be performed by an experienced injector.
